The Leofoto HC-32 is a tiltable center column that can be used both horizontally and vertically. When the center column is in the vertical position, it increases the maximum working height of the tripod it is mounted on. By tilting the center column, it can be positioned horizontally above the tripod, making it particularly useful for top view and/or macro photography. Additionally, there is a hook at the opposite end of the camera where you can hang a counterweight if necessary.

Combining with a Tripod

The 46mm diameter base platform features a 3/8-inch screw hole, allowing this tiltable center column to be mounted on virtually any Leofoto tripod plate. The base of the tripod head can rotate horizontally 360 degrees and can tilt vertically 90 degrees. It also includes a built-in level and is adjustable with a gray wing nut. The tooth lock system of the vertical swivel plate provides enhanced control while adjusting the vertical tilt.

10-Layer Carbon Construction

The carbon tube is designed with a smart anti-twist slot that prevents unwanted rotation around its own axis. The tube has a diameter of 32mm and a length of 610mm. At the end of the center column, you can mount a tripod head of your choice on the 54mm mounting plate. The thread of the mounting plate is reversible, featuring both a 1/4-inch thread and a 3/8-inch thread. By utilizing carbon and lightweight aircraft aluminum, the HC-32 weighs just 520 grams.
