The NEEWER DL400 is a motorised camera dolly for photography and video recording, designed to capture smooth shots along straight paths, arcs and circles. It offers five speed settings from 60 s/m to 15 s/m, supports a payload of up to 3 kg and operates at a noise level of no more than 30 dB. Control it using the onboard controls or the NEEWER app. The included ball head rotates through 360° and tilts by 90°. An NP-F750 battery with a capacity of 4,400 mAh provides up to 5 hours of operation. The included mounts support DSLR cameras, smartphones and action cameras.

Five speed settings for smooth movement

Adjust the drive speed to suit the shot. The five settings are 60 s/m, 50 s/m, 35 s/m, 25 s/m and 15 s/m. Speed can be adjusted using the dolly controls or the app. A high-precision stepper motor and ultra-quiet dual-drive system keep operating noise at or below 30 dB. Anti-slip wheel rings help maintain smooth, stable movement and reduce unwanted vibration during recording.

Straight, curved and circular camera moves

Adjust the wheel angle to move along curved paths, arcs and circles as well as straight lines. Manual movement can be adjusted within a range of ±30° to the left or right, and the wheel-angle indicator reaches up to 60°. The included ball head provides 360° rotation and 90° tilt for positioning the camera at the desired angle.

App control and time-lapse mode

The NEEWER app provides wireless smartphone control and offers Manual, Live Video and time-lapse modes. Adjust movement and speed remotely without reaching for the dolly. Time-lapse photography requires a camera shutter-release cable, available separately. The dolly can also be moved manually; remove the battery before doing so.

NP-F750 battery and charging

The included 4,400 mAh NP-F750 battery provides up to 5 hours of operation. A USB Type-C cable is included for charging and firmware updates. Fully charge the battery before first use to help extend its service life.

3 kg payload and compatibility

The DL400 supports a maximum payload of 3 kg and can be used with DSLR cameras, action cameras and smartphones. Listed camera brands include Canon, Sony, Nikon and Fujifilm. The included accessories support devices such as the iPhone 17 Air, 16e and 15 Pro Max/Plus; Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra; and Pixel 10 Pro. Listed action-camera compatibility includes GoPro Hero 13 and 12, DJI Osmo Action 6, Pocket 3, Insta360 X5 and Ace Pro 2. The dolly has a 1/4-inch mounting point. Its dimensions are 229 × 175 × 65 mm and its weight is 1.7 kg.

Operation on sloped surfaces

The dolly can operate on surfaces with a slope of up to 30°. When moving uphill, use a low speed, preferably the first or second setting, and avoid the 60 s/m setting, which may cause vibration or jerky movement. The camera or camcorder is not included.
