The Sennheiser e 914 delivers detailed, full-bodied sound with silky treble and fast transients. It handles up to 157 dB SPL via a three-position pad, offers three-position bass roll-off (85 Hz/130 Hz), and sensitivity switching. The rugged metal body features an exchangeable capsule and XLR output, making it ideal for drums, percussion, strings, and acoustic instruments.
This high-end microphone features a permanently polarized cardioid capsule that captures nuanced detail with a lively, musical character. It has rich lows, transparent mids, and silky, extended highs (20 Hz - 20 kHz ±3 dB). Its exceptional transient response and wide dynamic range (138 dB) make it perfect for overheads, hi-hats, percussion, acoustic guitars, pianos, and orchestral sections. The tight cardioid pattern ensures focused pickup with excellent rear rejection (>25 dB at 180°).
