The Falcam Camera Cage for Hasselblad X2D/X2D II is a precision-engineered protective cage designed for a form-fitted, native feel while enhancing mounting versatility. The Falcam Camera Cage for Hasselblad X2D/X2D II is a premium protective and functional rigging solution designed specifically for the Hasselblad X2D and X2D II cameras. Built with a “Native Guardian” Scandinavian design philosophy, it preserves the original aesthetics and handling feel of the camera while adding advanced protection and modular mounting capability.
Machined from high-strength 6061 aluminum alloy with a hardened anodized finish, the cage offers robust protection against impacts and scratches. Its lay-flat design ensures stable placement even with larger XCD lenses, while integrated screen guard rails help prevent damage when the camera is set down screen-first. The enhanced oxide layer is significantly thicker than standard camera cages, providing superior durability and long-term resistance to wear.
The cage is fully form-fitted, maintaining complete access to all buttons, ports, battery compartments, and camera functions. A slide-open cover plate allows quick access to memory cards and shutter connections, while the included modular L-plate enables tool-free switching between horizontal and vertical shooting modes. The built-in Arca-type rail further simplifies tripod mounting and quick transitions between setups.
For added functionality, the cage features multiple mounting points including strap lugs for shoulder and wrist straps, enabling flexible carrying configurations.
