Machined from high-strength 6061 aluminum alloy with a hardened anodized finish, the cage offers robust protection against impacts and scratches. Its lay-flat design ensures stable placement even with larger XCD lenses, while integrated screen guard rails help prevent damage when the camera is set down screen-first. The enhanced oxide layer is significantly thicker than standard camera cages, providing superior durability and long-term resistance to wear.
The cage is fully form-fitted, maintaining complete access to all buttons, ports, battery compartments, and camera functions. A slide-open cover plate allows quick access to memory cards and shutter connections, while the included modular L-plate enables tool-free switching between horizontal and vertical shooting modes. The built-in Arca-type rail further simplifies tripod mounting and quick transitions between setups.
