ColorChecker Passport Photo 2 Overview

The Calibrite ColorChecker Passport Photo 2 is a compact, portable color calibration tool designed to help photographers capture accurate and consistent colors from initial capture through editing. It combines four photographic targets in a rugged, pocket-sized protective case that adjusts to various positions for easy integration into any scene.

Included Targets and Features

• Gray Balance Target: Features an 18% middle gray patch used to set proper exposure with in-camera or handheld meters, check lighting ratios, and neutralize color casts.
• White Balance Target: Provides a spectrally neutral reference to create custom in-camera white balance, eliminating color casts and ensuring consistent white points across images without individual corrections.
• Classic Target: The industry-standard 24-patch color reference target for creating custom camera profiles and visual color assessments. Each patch represents natural colors like sky blue, skin tones, and leaf green, reflecting light like real-world objects.
• Creative Enhancement Target: Contains rows of color patches for creative image editing, including warming and cooling patches, clipping patches for shadow and highlight evaluation, and HSL spectrum patches to check color fidelity and shifts.

Camera Calibration Software and Compatibility

The package includes advanced Camera Calibration software and a Lightroom® Plug-In that allow creation of custom DNG and ICC camera profiles based on your camera, lens, and lighting conditions. The software supports auto-detection of targets and dual-illuminant profiles for versatile lighting adaptation. Profiles are compatible with Adobe Lightroom Classic, Photoshop, Capture One, Canon DPP, and other raw editors with custom white balance capabilities.

Portable Protective Case

The durable plastic case protects the targets and can stand in multiple positions for flexible use. A lanyard is included to keep the Passport close during shoots.
