It offers accuracy up to 0.03 mm in laser mode, RGB color scanning, real-time AI segmentation, and supports Gaussian Splatting models. High Accuracy for Demanding Applications
Designed for users requiring high-precision geometric mapping, the POP 4 achieves single-measurement accuracy up to 0.03 mm in multi-line laser mode, capturing fine details in mechanical parts, technical models, or industrial components. It provides a point cloud density of up to 0.05 mm, enabling detailed models suitable for CAD software or 3D printing. Volumetric accuracy of 0.03 mm + 0.05 mm × L(m) is available exclusively in laser modes, supporting applications demanding the highest dimensional precision.
Three Scanning Technologies Tailored to Different Projects
The scanner uses three independent data capture technologies, allowing selection of the appropriate mode for the object type. Multi-line laser mode with 30 crosshairs is designed for scanning technical components and surfaces requiring high accuracy. Full-Field HD uses infrared structured light for convenient scanning of faces, figures, and objects without markers. VCSEL mode is optimized for larger objects and fieldwork, enabling fast data capture from greater distances.
Photorealistic Models with Gaussian Splatting Technology
Supporting Gaussian Splatting technology, the POP 4 creates photorealistic 3D objects with very high visual quality. This technology more accurately replicates light interaction with material surfaces, improving rendering of reflections, translucency, hair, fabrics, and complex textures. Finished models can be exported in SPLAT format for use in VR, AR, animation, product visualization, and digital media projects.
Real-Time AI Segmentation
The POP 4 features Real-Time AI Segmentation, which automatically analyzes the scanned scene during operation. AI algorithms recognize the object and remove background, work surfaces, and other unnecessary elements. The system can detect hands holding the object and remove them from the model without user intervention, resulting in cleaner models and reduced post-processing time.
Fast Scanning and Smooth Object Tracking
Depending on the mode, the POP 4 captures between 15 and 105 frames per second. Laser mode captures up to 2 million points per second, ensuring high accuracy with smooth operation. Full-Field mode captures up to 5 million points per second, accelerating digitization of larger objects. These parameters facilitate scanning of small details and complex structures.
Scanning Dark and Shiny Surfaces
The advanced laser projection system effectively captures many challenging surfaces, including dark objects, mechanical parts, and shiny materials, without requiring matte spray. For transparent or highly reflective surfaces, using a dedicated scanning spray is recommended for optimal results.
Indoor and Outdoor Use
The scanner supports outdoor use in light intensities up to 100,000 lux. VCSEL mode minimizes ambient light impact, enabling operation even in strong sunlight.
