The ANYCUBIC Kobra S1 ACE 2 Pro Combo is an enclosed CoreXY FDM 3D printer with a 250 × 250 × 250 mm build volume and an ACE 2 Pro multicolour printing system. It prints at speeds of up to 600 mm/s, with maximum acceleration of 20,000 mm/s². The hotend reaches 320°C and the heated bed reaches 120°C, supporting a range of filaments including PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA and TPU. The ACE 2 Pro enables four-colour printing, expandable to 16 colours, and also works as an active filament dryer at temperatures of up to 65°C. LeviQ 3.0 automatic bed levelling, print monitoring, app-based remote control and quiet operation make the printer suitable for home workshops and professional design environments.

Multicolour printing with the ACE 2 Pro

The included ACE 2 Pro module enables automatic four-colour printing without manual filament changes. It simplifies the production of detailed projects, decorative models, figurines and prototypes that use multiple filament colours. The system can be expanded to support up to 16 colours by adding ACE 2 Pro modules. First- and second-generation multicolour systems cannot operate simultaneously, so older Anycubic multicolour solutions cannot be combined with this platform.

Stable CoreXY design and print quality

The enclosed CoreXY design is engineered to maintain precision at high print speeds. Its rigid frame helps minimise vibration for accurate detail reproduction and smooth model surfaces. The enclosed build chamber helps maintain stable temperatures when printing demanding materials such as ABS and ASA, reducing the risk of warping and supporting more predictable results.

Performance for rapid prototyping

The Kobra S1 drive system supports print speeds of up to 600 mm/s and acceleration of up to 20,000 mm/s², helping reduce project turnaround times. The recommended print speed is 300 mm/s for a balance of speed and precision. These capabilities are useful for producing prototypes, functional models and short production runs.

Filament compatibility

The printer supports PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA and TPU filaments, allowing material selection to suit projects ranging from decorative models to technical parts for demanding conditions. The hotend reaches 320°C and the heated bed reaches 120°C. Due to its flexibility, TPU must be fed directly into the printer and is not compatible with the ACE 2 Pro module for automatic multicolour printing.

Filament drying and humidity control

The ACE 2 Pro also functions as a smart filament dryer, drying material at temperatures of up to 65°C, including during printing. Built-in temperature and humidity sensors monitor conditions inside the chamber in real time. An active moisture-removal system helps maintain suitable filament storage conditions and supports consistent print results.

Smart printing assistance

LeviQ 3.0 automatic bed levelling removes the need for manual build-plate calibration. Resonance compensation uses a built-in accelerometer to reduce vibrations that can affect model surface quality. Material-flow correction provides more precise extrusion control, helping reduce excess material at corners and improve dimensional accuracy. These features support better results with fewer manual adjustments.

Monitoring and operational safety

The AI Monitoring system can detect anomalies such as “spaghetti” failures, where material builds up uncontrollably during printing. The printer also supports foreign-object detection in the work area, drive-belt tension monitoring and automatic print resumption after a power outage. These features help identify potential problems and reduce the risk of failed prints.

Operation and remote control

The 4.3-inch touchscreen provides straightforward control. The Anycubic App can be used to start prints remotely, monitor progress and view time-lapse recordings of the printing process. Anycubic Slicer Next, based on the Orca Slicer platform, supports project preparation and model slicing. Wi-Fi connectivity also enables management over a local network.

Noise and components

In Quiet mode, the printer produces approximately 44 dB of noise; in Standard mode, approximately 46 dB. Noise may reach approximately 55 dB when the ACE 2 Pro is actively drying filament, due to the additional drying components. Brushless motors with a service life exceeding 5,000 hours support long-term, stable operation.
