High-temperature printing for demanding filaments
The QIDI Plus 4 3D printer offers a build volume of 305 × 305 × 280 mm, full automatic calibration, a second-generation actively heated chamber and a high-performance hotend designed for demanding filaments. Its maximum nozzle temperature is 370°C. The printer also features a 5-inch HD screen, Klipper V0.12, an advanced drive system and compatibility with the QIDI Box, allowing the system to be expanded for multicolour printing.
High temperatures for demanding filaments
The QIDI Plus 4 uses a second-generation 80 W bimetallic hotend that heats the nozzle to a maximum of 370°C. For selected engineering materials, the operating temperature can reach 360°C, allowing settings to be adjusted to suit the filament. This wide temperature range supports projects using both standard and more demanding materials.
Second-generation actively heated chamber
The active chamber heating system has a power of 400 W and reaches temperatures of up to 65°C. Air circulation and an efficient fan help distribute heat evenly throughout the chamber, which is particularly important when printing materials sensitive to temperature changes.
Stable construction and 305 × 305 × 280 mm build volume
The 305 × 305 × 280 mm build volume accommodates large models or several smaller parts on the build plate at the same time. The motion system uses two independent motors, 10 mm linear shafts and screws to ensure stable operation during printing. The 6 mm-thick aluminium build plate provides increased rigidity and flatness, helping maintain suitable conditions for the first layers and subsequent stages of printing.
Automatic calibration, Klipper and user-friendly controls
Full automatic calibration reduces the steps required before printing and simplifies setup, including when switching frequently between projects. The 5-inch HD screen with an updated interface provides direct access to key settings. The open-source Klipper V0.12 system offers additional configuration and expansion options. The printer can also be controlled from other devices. Compatibility with the QIDI Box allows the system to be expanded for multicolour printing.
