3D printing requires properly prepared filament. Even a small amount of moisture can compromise print quality, cause air bubbles or result in poor layer adhesion. The Creality SpacePi X4L Filament Dryer helps keep filament in optimal condition before and during printing. Smart sensors, temperature control and an intuitive touchscreen make drying simple and precise.

Smart Temperature and Humidity Sensors

The SpacePi X4L uses sensors to monitor the temperature and humidity inside the chamber. It responds to changes in these conditions to maintain stable drying parameters. This helps prepare filament more uniformly, supporting consistent material flow during printing and improved model quality.

LCD Touchscreen Controls

The dryer is operated via a clear LCD touchscreen. Its updated display has an anti-static coating for good visibility, including in cooler conditions. Use the panel to set the drying time and temperature, or select automatic mode to let the device choose suitable parameters. The screen also displays the chamber’s humidity level in real time.

Double Insulation for Safety

The housing has double-layer insulation to retain heat inside the chamber. The drying temperature can reach 75°C, while the outer housing remains significantly cooler, at around 60°C.

Wide Filament Compatibility

The Creality SpacePi X4L supports many popular 3D-printing filaments. It is compatible with 1 kg and 2 kg spools and filament diameters of 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm. The chamber accommodates spools up to 200 mm in diameter and 150 mm in width.

Precise Time and Temperature Control

Set the temperature from 45°C to 75°C and the operating time from 1 to 48 hours. Adjust the drying process to suit materials such as PLA, PETG and TPU, or other filaments that need moisture removed before printing.
