Drying and annealing in one device
The SUNLU FilaDryer E2 combines filament drying and annealing in a single device, giving 3D printing users control over material properties. With 500 W of power, rapid heating and a maximum temperature of 110°C, it removes moisture from filament and can improve the mechanical properties of printed parts. Its sealed, insulated chamber accommodates spools up to 3 kg and includes multiple safety features.
Drying and annealing for stronger prints
In addition to removing moisture from filament, the E2 can anneal printed models. Annealing reduces internal stresses created during printing and can improve impact resistance, strength and dimensional stability. This is useful when working with engineering materials or producing parts for demanding applications.
High-temperature operation
The maximum operating temperature of 110°C supports a wide range of filaments, including PA, PC, ASA and composites reinforced with carbon or glass fibres. The 500 W PTC heating system reaches 50°C in approximately 20 minutes and 70°C in approximately 30 minutes.
Sealed, insulated chamber
Silicone gaskets and a magnetic closure help prevent moisture from entering the chamber. Double thermal insulation helps maintain a stable temperature, including at temperatures above 100°C, supporting both drying and annealing.
Large spool capacity
The chamber accommodates spools up to Ø250 mm and supports configurations of two 1 kg spools, two 2 kg spools or one 3 kg spool. The maximum spool dimensions are Ø250 × 153 mm.
Safety and compatibility
Temperature control, automatic shutdown in the event of overheating and warning alarms provide multiple layers of protection. Double insulation helps keep the housing safe to touch during high-temperature operation. The dryer supports 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm filament and includes material profiles for convenient setting selection.
