The Caruba Dome Port is designed for GoPro Hero 9, 10, 11, and 12 cameras, enabling you to capture striking split-level images where the lower half of the frame shows the underwater scene and the upper half shows the view above the water surface. Its convex dome shape effectively pushes water away from the lens, preventing blurring and ensuring a clear capture of the water surface.

Design and Usability

Constructed from durable plastic, the dome port weighs only 241 grams, making it lightweight and easy to handle. It features two retractable movable buckles on a double handle for secure attachment. Once the water surface lens cover is inserted into the card slot, two fixed buckles lock it firmly in place. The dome port attaches to a diving stand bracket and can also connect to the GoPro waterproof housing via a three-jaw adapter, allowing for stable two-handed shooting.

On top, there is a 1/4-inch interface screw compatible with both left- and right-handed users. The bottom includes three cold shoe mounts, which can be used to attach external lighting or other accessories, enhancing your underwater shooting capabilities.

Maintenance and Care

To maintain optimal performance, dry the dome port promptly after use. Avoid using hair dryers. After exposure to seawater, rinse thoroughly with fresh water and dry in a cool, dry place. This prevents salt residue buildup on the sealing strip, which could compromise the waterproof seal.
