It features three specialized lens mods and a set of four ND filters, all housed in a premium semi-hard case for easy transport and storage.
Ultra Wide Lens Mod
- Expands the HERO13 Black's field of view up to 177°, providing 36% wider and 48% taller coverage compared to the standard Wide digital lens.
- Enables vertical capture mode for ultra wide vertical shots without needing to rotate the camera or adjust mounts.
- Enhances HyperSmooth video stabilization performance for unbreakable, smooth footage.
- Offers an 11:1 aspect ratio, allowing flexible cropping to widescreen 16:9 or vertical 9:16 aspect ratios during post-production.
- Supports Horizon Lock across all digital lenses, maintaining steady footage even if the camera rotates a full 360° during capture.
Macro Lens Mod
- Allows focusing on subjects as close as 11 cm (4.33 in), enabling detailed close-up shots ideal for artistic slow-motion and time-lapse videos.
- Features a rotating focus ring to manually adjust focus distance from 11 cm (4.33 in) to 0.75 m (2.46 ft).
- Includes focus peaking displayed on the camera's rear screen to assist in achieving sharp focus on subjects.
Anamorphic Lens Mod
- Captures cinematic ultra wide-angle footage in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio, commonly used in feature films, suitable for static shots and stabilized gimbal footage of low vibration activities.
- Produces horizontal lens flares with reduced distortion and corner aberrations, adding a professional film-like aesthetic.
- Supports in-camera de-squeezing, allowing immediate viewing of footage in the correct aspect ratio and simplifying post-production editing.
Neutral Density Filters
- Includes four ND filters: ND4, ND8, ND16, and ND32, enabling selection based on lighting conditions and desired motion blur effects.
- Auto Cinematic video mode assists first-time ND filter users in achieving natural motion blur.
- Experienced users can manually adjust exposure settings to fine-tune motion blur effects.
