Silent Coat Sound Absorber 35 is a 35 mm thick semi open cell polyurethane memory foam with a special formulation designed to provide excellent sound absorption and flexibility. The material features a unique pressure-sensitive adhesive backing, allowing it to fill gaps between surfaces effectively when sandwiched between panels.

Sound Absorption Characteristics

This foam is engineered primarily to absorb unwanted high and mid-range frequencies, reducing echo, reverb, and high-frequency road noise inside vehicle interiors. The surface is formed in an 'egg box' pattern, which enhances sound absorption by 30-40% compared to plain foam sheets.
