SHAPE Sliding Rod Block

The SHAPE Sliding Rod Block enables the addition of 15mm rods to many camera support rigs. To suit various sizes

of lenses and accessories, 15mm rods often need a vertical adjustment. That's where the Sliding Rod Block comes

in – it attaches to a SHAPE Rail Block (not included) to enable movement along the vertical axis. A 4mm hexagonal

key is required to attach the Rail Block to the Sliding Rod Block and to adjust its height. The Sliding Rod

Block, composed of lightweight anodized aluminum, slides onto standard 15mm rods and tightens by twisting its

small red knob.

The Sliding Rod Block attaches 15mm rods to the front of several different support rigs from SHAPE, including the

Cameleon, Red Mamouth, Spider, Sumo, and Paparazzi series, plus the Adjustable Composite Shoulder Pad and the

Paparazzi Riser.

Note! The Sliding Rod Block requires a Rail Block - 2" or Rail Block - 2.75" to function.
