Compatibility and Purpose

The SmallRig Silicone Donut with 114mm Rear Opening is specifically designed for use with the SmallRig Matte Box 2660. It effectively overcomes light leakage issues commonly encountered in matte box setups.

Lens Support Range

This silicone donut supports lenses with an outside diameter ranging from 58mm to 114mm, reducing the need to frequently switch adapter rings.

Design and Installation

• The highly flexible silicone hood fits directly over the front of the lens.
• It snaps securely into the Matte Box 2660 via a 114mm metal ring.
• To ensure stability and prevent twisting of the matte box, an additional LWS Rod Support for Matte Box 2663 is recommended.
• Four outside adjustment points allow for easy fitting and alignment.
• Reinforced linings prevent vignetting caused by silicone collapse.
