The SmallRig Sony FX3 XLR Handle Extension Rig MD3490 is designed to extend the length of the Sony FX3 XLR Handle by 30 mm, providing additional grip space and more accessory mounting options for enhanced shooting flexibility.

Design and Compatibility

• Attaches to the end of the FX3 XLR Handle using a 1/4"-20 screw.
• Ergonomically designed to offer a comfortable grip during handheld shooting.
• Constructed from durable aluminum alloy for lightweight strength.

Accessory Mounting Features

• Equipped with an integrated cold shoe for mounting accessories such as microphones or lights.
• Includes a detachable NATO rail installed on top of the extension rig with two 1/4"-20 screws, allowing quick installation and release of monitors, electronic viewfinders (EVF), and other accessories.
• Provides multiple threaded mounting points: 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, and ARRI 3/8"-16 accessory threads for versatile attachment options.
