The Trioplan 35mm f/2.8 II Lens from Meyer-Optik Gorlitz is a classic, compact, wide-angle prime lens designed for Pentax K-mount cameras. Made for travel, street, or nature photography, this sturdy all-metal lens produces a high degree of sharpness. It has a distinct artistic quality for a smooth rendering of out-of-focus areas to suit shallow depth of field shooting.
The lens elements are made from coated Schott optical glass in order to produce vibrant colors and high contrast in a variety of lighting conditions. This lens is also characterized by its manual focus operation, short 7.9" minimum focusing distance, and a 12-blade diaphragm that produces the famous Trioplan soap bubble bokeh for out-of-focus highlights.
