Functionality

The SmallRig BUC2496 is designed to relocate the camera shoe mount from the top to the right side of the Sony A6600 camera. This allows mounting of accessories such as microphones or lights without obstructing the camera's fold-out screen, which is especially useful for vlogging or selfie shooting.

Design and Installation

• The adapter installs securely into the camera's original shoe mount and strap slot using an M2.5 screw on the right side to prevent twisting.
• It features a rubber pad to protect the camera body from scratches during use.
• There is an integrated slot for attaching a hand or shoulder strap on the side of the adapter.

Compatibility

This shoe mount relocation plate is specifically compatible with the Sony A6600 camera. It can also be used in conjunction with the SmallRig L bracket for Sony A6600 (model LCS2503).
