SJCAM SJ20 Action Camera
The SJCAM SJ20 has two lenses for recording in different lighting conditions: an F2.0 daytime lens and an F1.3 night lens. It records video at resolutions up to 4K at 30 fps. Stabilisation using a 6-axis gyroscope and electronic image stabilisation (EIS) helps keep footage steady while moving. A 135° field of view and 8× digital zoom offer flexibility when framing shots. The camera has a 2.29-inch main touchscreen and a 1.3-inch front screen. It is water-resistant to a depth of 5 m without a case and up to 30 m with the supplied waterproof case. Dual-band Wi-Fi supports connection to the SJCAM Zone app. The built-in 800 mAh battery provides up to 150 minutes of recording at 1080p/30 fps. An additional 1050 mAh battery and a battery-powered selfie stick (not included) can extend operating time to up to 480 minutes.
Two Lenses and 4K Recording
The SJ20 is equipped with two lenses designed for different lighting conditions. The F2.0 daytime lens captures clear, detailed images in good light, while the F1.3 night lens admits more light for recording in low-light conditions. Both lenses support recording at up to 4K resolution and 30 fps. The SuperNight feature helps produce clearer footage in very low light by making better use of available light.
Smoother Footage While Moving
A 6-axis gyroscope and electronic image stabilisation (EIS) help counteract vibrations caused by camera movement, keeping footage steadier in dynamic situations and during activities where it is difficult to hold the camera still.
Wide-angle View and Digital Zoom
The 135° field of view captures expansive scenes, making it suitable for landscapes and outdoor activities. Use the up to 8× digital zoom to focus on a particular subject and switch between wide shots and closer framing.
Two Screens for Convenient Framing
The 2.29-inch main touchscreen provides access to camera functions and lets you monitor recordings. The additional 1.3-inch front screen provides a preview when filming yourself, making it easier to frame shots from either side of the camera.
Battery Life
The camera has a built-in 800 mAh battery, with a stated recording time of 150 minutes at 1080p/30 fps. An additional 1050 mAh battery provides extra power. When used with a battery-powered selfie stick (not included), the operating time can reach up to 480 minutes.
Water Resistance
The SJ20 is water-resistant to a depth of 5 m without a waterproof case. With the supplied case, it can be used at depths of up to 30 m, making it suitable for underwater recording and water-based activities.
Connect to the SJCAM Zone App
Dual-band Wi-Fi lets you connect the SJ20 to a smartphone using the SJCAM Zone app. The app provides a real-time preview, lets you download and share recordings, and offers creative recording modes for mobile control.
Recording Features
Additional features include Car Mode, Time Lapse, vertical recording, slow motion, loop recording, pre-recording, delayed recording, motion detection, portrait mode and simultaneous photo and video recording.
