SJCAM SJ20 Charging Combo Action Camera
The SJCAM SJ20 has two lenses for recording in different lighting conditions: an F2.0 daytime lens and an F1.3 night lens. It records video at resolutions up to 4K at 30 fps. Six-axis gyroscope stabilisation and electronic image stabilisation (EIS) help keep footage smooth while moving. A 135° field of view and 8× digital zoom offer flexibility when framing shots. The camera has a 2.29-inch main touchscreen and a 1.3-inch front screen. It is water-resistant to 5 m without a waterproof case and supports 5 GHz Wi-Fi connectivity with the SJCAM Zone app. The built-in 800 mAh battery, additional 1050 mAh battery and battery-powered selfie stick provide up to 480 minutes of runtime.
Two Lenses and 4K Recording
The SJ20 is equipped with two lenses designed for different lighting conditions. The daytime lens has an F2.0 aperture for capturing clear, detailed images in well-lit conditions, while the F1.3 night lens captures more light for recording in low-light conditions. Both lenses support recording at up to 4K resolution at 30 fps. SuperNight mode complements the night lens, helping to produce clearer footage in very low light and make better use of available light after dark.
Smoother Footage While Moving
A six-axis gyroscope and electronic image stabilisation (EIS) help counteract vibrations caused by camera movement, keeping footage steadier in dynamic situations and during activities where it is difficult to hold the camera still.
Wide-angle View and Digital Zoom
The 135° field of view captures a wide scene in a single shot, making it useful for landscapes and outdoor activities. Use the up to 8× digital zoom to focus on a specific subject, switching between wide shots and closer framing as needed.
Two Screens for Convenient Framing
The 2.29-inch main touchscreen provides access to camera functions and lets you monitor recordings. The additional 1.3-inch front screen provides a preview when filming yourself, making it easier to frame shots from either side of the camera.
Extended Battery Runtime
The camera has a built-in 800 mAh battery. The additional 1050 mAh battery and battery-powered selfie stick extend runtime to up to 8 hours (480 minutes), making the combo suitable for trips and long recording sessions with fewer charging interruptions. The stated operating time is 150 minutes when recording at 1080p/30 fps.
Water Resistance
The camera is water-resistant to a depth of 5 m without a waterproof case. With the included waterproof case, it can be used underwater to a stated depth of up to 30 m, allowing you to record during water-based activities and underwater excursions.
Connect to the SJCAM Zone App
Wi-Fi connectivity lets you connect the SJ20 to a smartphone and use the SJCAM Zone app to view a real-time preview, download recordings and share them. The app also provides access to creative recording modes. The camera supports 2.4 GHz (802.11b/g/n) and 5 GHz (802.11a/n/ac) Wi-Fi.
Recording Features
Car Mode lets you use the camera while driving, while Time Lapse creates time-lapse videos. Vertical recording is also available. Other recording options include slow motion, loop recording, pre-recording, delayed recording, motion detection, portrait mode and simultaneous photo and video recording. Photo modes include standard photos, interval photos, burst mode and time-lapse photography.
