Action camera SJCAM SJ4000 Wi-Fi (black)

SJCAM SJ4000 Wi-Fi Action Camera

The SJCAM SJ4000 Wi-Fi captures video in resolutions up to 4K at 30 fps and takes photos at up to 12 MP. Its 170° wide-angle lens records a broad scene, while the 2-inch LTPS LCD screen helps you review footage and frame shots. Features include 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, 5× digital zoom, time-lapse, loop recording, motion detection, car mode and webcam functionality. The included waterproof housing allows use underwater at depths of up to 30 m.

4K video and photos up to 12 MP

Record adventures in detail with 4K, 2K and 1080p video at 30 fps, or select 720p at 30 or 60 fps. Video is saved in MP4 format with H.264 encoding. The camera also takes JPG photos at resolutions up to 12 MP, allowing you to capture both video and still images with one device.

170° field of view and framing controls

The 170° lens captures a wide scene, fitting more of the surroundings and action into the frame. The camera has an f/2.2 aperture and 5× digital zoom. Exposure compensation from ±2 EV and adjustable white balance help adapt image capture to different conditions. White balance options are Auto, Daylight, Cloudy, Incandescent, Fluorescent and Underwater. The built-in 2-inch LTPS LCD screen makes it easy to monitor the frame and compose shots.

Modes for different situations

Alongside standard recording, the camera offers time-lapse, motion detection, car mode and loop recording with 3-, 5- or 10-minute segments. Photo options include standard shooting, interval shooting and burst mode.

Wi-Fi and app control

The built-in 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi module supports the 802.11b/g/n standard and connects to the SJCAM Zone app. Use the app to control the camera remotely, view a live preview and share recorded footage. App control is useful when the camera is mounted somewhere that makes direct access to its controls difficult.

Waterproof housing and battery life

The included waterproof housing allows the SJCAM SJ4000 Wi-Fi to be used at depths of up to 30 m. The dedicated Underwater white balance mode can be selected for underwater recording. The compact camera measures 59 × 41 × 31 mm and weighs 60 g. Its 900 mAh, 3.7 V lithium-ion battery (3.33 Wh) provides up to 120 minutes of operation when recording 4K video at 30 fps. The camera supports microSD cards up to 128 GB and has a USB-C port. It can also function as a webcam and includes one microphone and one speaker.
