Compatibility and Usage
The GF 1.4X TC WR is a teleconverter designed specifically for Fujifilm G Mount lenses. It is intended to be attached to compatible GF lenses, such as the GF250mm F4 R LM OIS WR, to extend their focal length for telephoto shooting.
Optical Performance
When attached to the GF250mm F4 R LM OIS WR lens, the teleconverter increases the effective focal length to 350mm (approximately 277mm in 35mm format equivalent). This allows for greater reach in telephoto photography while maintaining superior image quality.
The maximum aperture is reduced by one F-stop due to the teleconverter's magnification effect. Despite this, the combination of the high-quality lens and teleconverter results in minimal deterioration of the Modulation Transfer Function (MTF), preserving sharpness and contrast.
