Helicoid for Easy35 and Easy120

The VALOI Easy Precision Framing Helicoid is designed to attach to the distance tubes supplied with the Easy35 and Easy120 scanning systems. It is placed between the lens and the tubes, allowing for precise adjustment, locking, and then scanning.

Stepless Framing Adjustment

This helicoid allows for stepless (continuous) adjustment of framing beyond the standard tubes included with the Easy systems. While the smallest tube usually suffices for framing, this helicoid enables fine-tuning to achieve exact framing. This is particularly useful for maximizing resolution by avoiding cropping in post-processing or achieving a specific aesthetic frame without cropping.

Stable Locking Mechanism

The helicoid adjusts smoothly and firmly to the desired length. Once the ideal length is found, the two locking screws fix the position to prevent any spiral movement, ensuring the frame remains in focus.

• Note: When used vertically, heavy cameras and lenses may still cause the helicoid to shift. It is recommended to test with your equipment before vertical use.
