Canare GS-6 is a premium unbalanced 5.8 mm instrument cable equipped with a Neutrik NP2X-B connector on one end and a right-angle Neutrik NP2RX-AU-SILENT connector on the other.
Canare GS-6 is made from oxygen-free copper, ideal for connecting guitars or linking keyboards to amplifiers, mixing consoles, effect pedals, or external signal processing devices. Its low capacitance and resistance provide better frequency response (flat up to 50kHz). The bright, ringing characteristic sound is preserved even at long lengths of the Canare GS-6, even when using Hi-Z guitar pickups. The unique double shielding construction with carbon and copper braid eliminates handling noise, especially on stage where amplifiers are often set to maximum volume.

Neutrik NP2RX-AU-SILENT (male) is a right-angle 2-pole TS jack connector with a nickel red rubberized surface, gold-plated contacts, and an integrated signal disconnect switch.
Durable professional TS (mono) jack connectors from the new PX silentPLUG series feature a solid metal body with a rubberized surface for increased durability. The Neutrik NP2X-AU-SILENT connector has a switch that disconnects the contact when the cable is not connected to the instrument to prevent crackling and squealing during instrument changes. The integrated switch is based on REED technology and guarantees a lifespan exceeding 10,000 switching cycles.
Warning!
The connector is for instrument use only. Connecting to an amplifier input may damage the connector. In some types of instruments equipped with active electronics and TRS connectors for disconnecting electronics, the signal may not be muted.
