Infinitek GS-6 instrument cable 10m

The Canare GS-6 is a high-end asymmetrical 5.8 mm instrument cable fitted with a Neutrik NP2X-B connector on one end and a rectangular Neutrik NP2RX-AU-SILENT connector on the other end.

Made of oxygen-free copper, it is ideal for connecting guitars or keyboards to amplifiers, mixers, effects pedals, or external signal processing equipment. Low capacitance and resistance provide better frequency response (flat to 50kHz). The clear, ringing characteristic sound is maintained even with long cable lengths and Hi-Z guitar pickups. The unique double shield design with carbon and copper braid eliminates handling noise, especially on stage where amplifiers are often set to maximum volume.

The Neutrik NP2RX-AU-SILENT (Male) is a rectangular 2-pole TS jack to cable connector with a nickel red rubberized surface, gold-plated contacts, and an integrated signal disconnect switch.

Durable professional TS (mono) jack connectors from the new PX silentPLUG series feature a solid metal body with a rubberized surface for added durability. The Neutrik NP2X-AU-SILENT connector features a switch that disconnects the contact when the cable is not connected to the instrument to prevent cracking and squeaking when changing instruments. The integrated switch is based on REED technology and guarantees a lifetime in excess of 10,000 switching cycles.

The connector is for tool use only. Connecting to the input of an amplifier may damage the connector. For some types of instruments equipped with active electronics and a TRS connector to disconnect the electronics, the signal may not be muted.
