Multi-Track Recording and Editing
The L-8 records each input on separate tracks directly to an SD card, allowing detailed post-production editing. It supports up to 10 discrete tracks plus a stereo mix at resolutions up to 24-bit/96 kHz (note: effects, EQ, overdub, and audio interface functions are not available at 96 kHz).
Portability and Power Options
Run the mixer on four AA batteries for up to 2.5 hours or use a USB battery pack for mobile podcasting and recording anywhere. The unique USB connection design prevents accidental disconnection during use.
Audio Interface and Streaming
The L-8 functions as a 12-in/4-out USB audio interface, enabling direct recording into DAWs and playback of backing tracks from a computer. It supports simultaneous recording to computer and SD card and allows live streaming while recording. It is class-compliant for iOS devices (Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter required).
