The Westcott Optical Spot by Lindsay Adler is a projection module designed for flash heads or COB-LED lamps with a Bowens mount. It features a 150mm f/3.5 Canon EF mount lens that projects a hard beam of light, enabling the creation of beautiful shapes and effects using the included gobos. Built-in adjustable flaps allow you to narrow the beam to illuminate specific parts of subjects, making it ideal for selective lighting, dramatic special effects, subtle textures, and creative patterns on any subject, surface, or background.
Creative Light Shaping with Gobos and Gels
Experiment with shapes and colors by creating patterns in the light using the included gobo kit. The eight gobos include the following shapes: small circle, medium circle, large circle, heart, star, traditional window, parallel lines, and barcode. Gobos are placed into the optical spot with the help of the included Gobo Holder.
The gel pack contains five color gels in red, blue, green, orange, and yellow, designed to add beautiful and playful color effects to your photos. Combining the gobo light shapers with the colored gels offers a wide range of creative possibilities, as each light former uniquely affects the light.
