Thanks to the high synchronization speed of up to 1/8000 s, you can freeze action and balance the flash in bright conditions. Ultra-fast freeze mode
The AD400ProII can freeze even the fastest movements with an ultra-short flash duration of up to 1/27770 second (t0.1). This allows you to capture razor-sharp images of flying water droplets, fast-moving vehicles, or other fast-moving subjects. Combined with a lightning-fast recovery time (only 0.01 s), the AD400ProII keeps pace with your creativity without missing a beat.
1/512 fine power control
The AD400ProII offers 10 power settings from 1/512 to full power, allowing you to precisely adjust the flash output for consistent, repeatable exposures.
30 W Bi-colour modelling lamp
The built-in 30W bi-colour LED offers a constant mode for manual brightness (10-100) and color temperature (2800K-6000K), plus a prop mode, where the brightness follows the flash. Stable, flicker-free lighting for continuous video light.
2.4 GHz wireless X system
The AD400ProII is equipped with Godox's 2.4 GHz wireless X system, ensuring fast and stable communication between multiple lamps. With the X3 trigger, all units are instantly synchronized with a single press of a button, without the need to manually set groups or channels. It also works seamlessly with Xpro II, X2T, X1, and other X-series transmitters. For extended trigger options, the USB-C port supports the optional FR433 433 MHz receiver.
Group indicator lights
The 16 different lights assign each group a unique color, allowing you to identify and adjust each unit at a glance, even in low light or from a distance. Simply select the group color on the screen and adjust the power or synchronization settings instantly to keep your recordings running smoothly.
Intuitive color display and controls
Adjust settings instantly using the bright, full-color TFT display, which clearly and intuitively shows all important functions. Hold down the modelling lamp button to turn the lamp on or off, putting everything at your fingertips and speeding up your workflow.
Universal compatibility with modifiers
The AD400ProII features both a Godox mount and an included Bowens adapter. Switch between the two to use a wider range of modifiers from both ecosystems, giving you more creative versatility. Note: The Bowens adapter can be installed without blocking the Godox mount.
Extension arm for flexible lighting (optional)
Combine with the optional H400P extension arm (sold separately) and a 2 m extension cable to place your light exactly where you need it low to the ground, above your head, or hidden out of camera range. The lightweight clamp can be easily hung, opening up new creative locations.
Fast and versatile charging
Connect to the built-in AC400 power input (using the optional AC400 adapter) for uninterrupted AC power. For fast battery charging, use the optional Godox UC46 USB charger to charge in just 15 hours. Note: The UC46 can charge batteries for the AD600ProII, AD400ProII, and ADG600 series simultaneously.
