The SmallRig 4824 HawkLock Quick Release Cage is specifically designed for the Panasonic LUMIX GH7 and GH6 cameras. It provides robust protection for the camera body while enabling the attachment of various accessories to enhance your shooting experience.

Innovative Quick Release System

The cage features SmallRig's patented self-developed quick release structure called HawkLock. This system integrates cold shoes, NATO rail, and Arca Swiss mounts, allowing compatibility with HawkLock eco-accessories. It ensures a solid, stable, and false-position-free connection with a simple one-push loading and release-to-lock mechanism, significantly improving disassembly efficiency.

Secure Camera Locking

  • Locks the camera securely using one 1/4"-20 screw at the bottom and two M2.5 screws on either side.
  • Built-in protective spacers surround the cage to prevent any scratches to the camera body.

Compatibility and Mounting Options

  • Compatible with traditional cold shoe mounts, NATO clamps, and Arca Swiss clamps.
  • Triple-point locking system ensures stability and immovability.
  • Arca Swiss quick release plate at the bottom facilitates quick switching between tripod, stabilizer (compatible with DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro), and handheld shooting.
  • Multiple mounting points including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes, HawkLock cold shoe mounts, NATO rail, and quick-detach (QD) sockets.

Accessory Support

  • Supports mounting of top handle (model 3765), side handle (model 2093), monitor mount (model 2903), microphones, LED lights, monitors, and more.
  • QD mount at the bottom supports quick-detach shoulder straps.
  • Belt holes on the sides and bottom allow attachment of accessories such as hand straps (e.g., PAC2456).
  • Built-in magnetic key facilitates easy assembly and disassembly.

Additional Notes

  • To use the side locks, remove the triangle split rings on both sides of the camera first.
  • Compatible with Panasonic DMW-XLR1 and DMW-XLR2 audio adapters. For optimal use, SmallRig recommends the Top Handle 3082 designed for Sony XLR-K1M/K2M/K3M and Panasonic DMW-XLR1/XLR2 (remove the cable clamp at the bottom of the XLR before using 3082).
