Construction and Design
- Made of CNC machined aluminum for durability and lightweight handling.
- Top and bottom of the cage feature 1/4-20 threaded holes with anti-rotating pins to securely fix the camera position.
- Additional 1/4-20 threaded holes allow easy attachment of tripod plates.
- Designed for easy access to the memory card slot, battery door, lens release button, and all other camera controls and outputs.
- Includes a full-sized HDMI cable protector lock on the side to secure the HDMI 4K cable connection.
- Right side of the cage is ergonomically designed to allow a comfortable grip, enhanced by an included strap that firmly secures the hand to the camera.
- Left side is designed to accommodate mounting of a side handle such as the Wooden Side Handle with Padded Straps (sold separately).
- Lightweight, robust, and easy to assemble or disassemble.
Mounting Options
- Cold shoe mount located at the top of the cage for accessories like microphones, Magic Arm (RPB2AHS), LED lights, or the included Top Handle (DTH1).
- Multiple 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes with anti-rotating pins provide versatile mounting possibilities.
DSLR Cold Shoe Top Handle (DTH1)
- Removable top handle with an ergonomic solid maple wood grip.
- Can be mounted on top of the camera, cage, or lens to balance heavier or front-heavy setups.
- Features multiple SHAPE standard anti-rotating hole patterns on the top and side, plus cold shoe mounts at the front and back for additional accessory attachment.
- Facilitates secure carrying of the cage and allows mounting at front or back to balance weight when using heavier lenses.
