The Tilta Camera Cage for Sony FX5 Base Kit is engineered specifically for the Sony FX5 cinema camera body, providing a stable and twist-free connection through three points of contact. This full cage enhances the camera's functionality and protection for diverse shooting scenarios.
Modular and Lightweight Configuration
The cage can be converted into a lightweight half cage by removing two bottom screws and the handle-side bracket, allowing users to switch between a full and a less bulky setup while retaining essential features.
Accessory Mounting Options
- Multiple 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 threaded holes at various locations for versatile accessory attachment
- Cold shoe receiver for mounting compatible accessories
- NATO rail on the top plate for attaching top handles and other gear
- Mounting points for a single rod holder
Top Plate and Bottom Plate Features
- Standalone NATO rail top plate with multiple threads and a 3/8"-to-1/4" adapter thread for flexible accessory mounting
- Bi-directional ARCA bottom plate slides in from either side, enabling quick transitions between tripods and gimbals
- DJI gimbal center-positioning point on the bottom reduces balancing time
- Separate center-positioning point for baseplates to help build a well-balanced rig
