Custom Design and Modular Construction
- Specifically engineered for the Sony FX5 camera body, ensuring a secure and stable fit with three points of contact to prevent twisting.
- Modular design allows conversion from a full cage to a lightweight half cage by removing two bottom screws and the handle-side bracket, enabling flexible configurations based on shooting needs.
Accessory Mounting Options
- Multiple mounting points featuring 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes for versatile accessory attachment.
- Includes a cold shoe receiver and a NATO rail on the top plate for mounting top handles and other accessories.
- Mounting points available for a single rod holder to support additional rig components.
Top Plate and Bottom Plate Features
- Standalone top plate equipped with a NATO rail and multiple threaded holes (1/4"-20, 3/8"-16) for flexible accessory placement while maintaining compatibility with the camera's original XLR handle.
- Bi-directional ARCA bottom plate allows sliding from either direction, facilitating quick transitions between tripods and gimbals.
- Incorporates a DJI gimbal center-positioning point on the bottom to reduce balancing time and a separate center-positioning point for baseplates to help build a well-balanced rig.
Protection and Cable Management
- Reinforced corners protect the cage and camera from accidental bumps and damage during active filming.
- Locking HDMI cable clamp secures cables firmly, ensuring signal integrity and preventing accidental disconnections.
Ergonomics and Accessibility
- All camera buttons, dials, and screen functions remain fully accessible with specially designed clearances to avoid obstruction.
- Camera grip is reshaped and combined with the cage's grip to follow the natural curve of the palm, including a dedicated pinky rest for enhanced comfort and ergonomics.
- Seamless integration with the Nucleus Autofocus Adapter allows direct use without interference.
