SmallRig 5929 Modular Metal Cage
The SmallRig 5929 cage combines an aluminium-alloy frame with an integrated TPE handle for a comfortable, non-slip grip. It helps protect the camera while providing mounting and expansion options for professional imaging workflows.
Inspired by Hasselblad cameras’ role in humanity’s first Moon landing, the flash-sync port cover is CNC-machined with a crater-like texture and a finish matched to the camera body for a coordinated appearance.
Installation and access
A quick-release hinge enables installation in three steps while maintaining full access to the camera’s data ports.
Mounting and tracking
- Integrated Arca-type quick-release plate on the bottom.
- Concealed compartment for an AirTag, allowing equipment tracking.
