SmallRig 6904 Cinema Kit for iPhone 18 Pro
This cinema kit includes a video cage, a Rotating Wooden Handle with SR-MicroSlide, a Spherical Wooden Handle with SR-MicroSlide, and accessories for building an expanded iPhone video rig. The phone mounts directly into the cage.
Included mounting accessories are a 67 mm Attachable Filter Backplate, a T-Mount Lens Backplate, a 17 mm Lens Backplate, an SR-MicroSlide Plate Adapter for Arca-Swiss, and a 180 mm NATO Rail for SR-MicroSlide. The kit also includes two SR-MicroSlide adapters with cold shoe mounts.
Mounting and expansion
SmallRig’s patented SR-MicroSlide rail system runs around the cage, allowing compatible accessories to be attached and positioned as needed. It supports cold shoe mounts, NATO rails, Arca-Swiss plate adapters, handles, and other accessories for mounting equipment such as tripods, microphones, monitors, and lights. Multiple 1/4″-20 anti-twist threaded holes provide additional options for professional accessory expansion. The cage retains classic quick-release interfaces and is compatible with the HawkLock ecosystem.
The handles attach to the cage via the SR-MicroSlide rail system and can be installed or removed in one second. The rotating wooden handle offers stepless adjustment for a comfortable grip and smooth movement at different angles. The NATO rail adapter provides access to the NATO accessory ecosystem for expanded, heavy-duty setups.
Protection and operation
The aluminium-alloy cage provides all-around protection and helps absorb shocks and prevent scratches. Its cover-plate design balances convenient installation with secure operation, helping reduce the risk of damage from accidental drops once the phone is secured. The open-back design exposes the iPhone’s MagSafe attachment area and helps optimize heat dissipation during shooting. The cage does not obstruct the iPhone’s buttons, ports, ultra-wide camera, or wireless charging area.
Wrist-strap and shoulder-strap holes at all four corners accommodate professional straps with a cord diameter of less than 2 mm, helping keep the user’s hands free between shots.
