Camera Cage Overview
The foundation of this kit is the full camera cage, which greatly expands mounting options for your Compact High Speed Camera as well as provides additional protection for the body via the cage's aluminum-alloy frame.
Mounting Features
The cage features multiple mounting points including:
- Arri Rosettes
- NATO Rails on both sides
- 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threads, both with locating points
Unique Backplate Design
This cage complements the Ember's unique design with a one-of-a-kind backplate that:
- Connects to the camera body via two M3 screws
- Can swivel 90 degrees to free up access to the back of the camera when needed
- Features a 15mm gap when connected to the camera to allow heat from the camera to dissipate easily
This backplate is the perfect location to mount an accessory like our Tilta Pocket V-Mount Battery Plate V2, which is a great lightweight option for adding a V-Mount Battery to your system.
Lens Adapter Support
This cage also includes Lens Adapter Support for both PL and EF Mounts that connects directly to the cage body without the need for using a baseplate or additional accessories.
Ergonomic Top Handle
Included in this kit is the ergonomic Xeno Top Handle, which:
- Mounts via NATO Rail
- Offers improved handling and operation via its new design with increased clearance
This handle features a variety of mounting points such as:
- 1/4-20 threads
- A Cold Shoe Receiver, perfect for mounting an external monitor
Quick Release Plate and Baseplate
The included Manfrotto Quick Release Plate is compatible with select Manfrotto Tripod Heads and will allow you to connect the system to the 15mm LWS Baseplate Type IV.
The 15mm LWS Baseplate Type IV adds dual 15mm rod support and allows you to mount rod-based accessories such as matte boxes and follow focus systems.
The bottom of the baseplate natively connects to our Tilta Standard Dovetails and also supports various quick release plates via 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threads.
