It features a fast f/1.4 maximum aperture and a 12mm focal length (equivalent to approximately 18mm in 35mm full-frame format), delivering a broad 99.6° angle of view ideal for expansive landscapes, astrophotography, and low-light shooting.

Optical Design and Performance

The lens construction includes 14 elements in 12 groups, incorporating three double-sided aspherical lenses and two Special Low Dispersion (SLD) glass elements to achieve high resolution and minimize aberrations. This design effectively corrects coma flare, ensuring sharp, clear images from edge to edge, especially important for starry night scenes. The lens has a rounded 9-blade diaphragm for smooth bokeh and a minimum aperture of f/16.

Compact and Lightweight

Despite its ultra-wide angle and large aperture, the lens maintains a compact size of 68mm diameter by 69.4mm length and weighs only 225 grams, enhancing mobility for outdoor and travel photography. It is compatible with camera mounts and gimbals, supporting agile shooting.
