Camera Protection and Accessory Mounting

The SmallRig 4481 HawkLock Quick Release Cage is designed specifically for Sony Alpha 7R V, Alpha 7 IV, Alpha 7S III, Alpha 1, and Alpha 7R IV cameras. It provides robust protection for the camera body while offering extensive mounting options for various accessories.

HawkLock Quick Release System

This cage features SmallRig's patented self-developed quick release system called HawkLock. It integrates cold shoes, NATO rail, and Arca-Swiss mounts, enabling compatibility with HawkLock eco accessories. The system ensures a solid, no-slip position with a one-push-to-load and release-to-lock mechanism, significantly improving assembly and disassembly efficiency.

Secure and Adjustable Camera Locking

• The camera is secured via a triple-point locking system: a locating pin at the bottom, a 1/4"-20 screw, and an M2.5 screw on the left side.
• Side locking adapters are adjustable to fit different camera models. The adapter marked "A7 IV" fits Alpha 7 IV and Alpha 7R V, while the one marked "A7S III" fits Alpha 7S III, Alpha 1, and Alpha 7R IV.
• Built-in protective spacers surround the cage to prevent scratches on the camera body.

Unrestricted Access and Ergonomics

• The cage design allows full access to all camera interfaces, dials, buttons, and battery compartments.
• A hinged arm inside the battery compartment fits the camera's curve and leaves space for a little finger, enhancing grip comfort.

Extensive Mounting Options

• Multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes and ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes provide versatile attachment points.
• HawkLock cold shoe mounts support accessories such as top handle 2165C, side handle 2093, monitor mount 2903, microphones, LED lights, and monitors.
• The bottom quick release (QD) mount supports QD shoulder straps.
• The HawkLock Arca-Swiss quick release plate at the bottom is compatible with DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro stabilizers, including their riser plates, and Arca-Swiss quick release plate 3154.
• Additional holes on the sides and bottom allow attachment of accessories like the PAC2456 hand strap.
