Single-Person Camouflage Photo Hide

The Falco Mark II is a lightweight, low-level nature photography hide designed for single-person use. Developed and refined by nature and wildlife photographers, it is available in multiple camouflage patterns, including the light brown version. Its simple hoop construction allows for quick setup and folding, automatically forming its shape. The hide can be secured at all corners with pegs for stability.

Camouflage and Concealment

Wildlife such as birds and mammals are often shy around humans. The Falco Mark II helps photographers blend into their surroundings, reducing the chance of disturbing animals. Its compact size allows it to be placed inconspicuously and further camouflaged with natural materials like branches, leaves, or reeds. Additional camouflage can be attached using strings or an optional camouflage net.

Portability and Ease of Use

This photo hide is lightweight and compact, making it easy to carry for local or distant excursions. It can be quickly deployed when photographic opportunities arise. For air travel or smaller packed size, other models like the Falco Mark III series are recommended.

Setup and Preparation

For best results, set up the hide in advance, ideally a day or evening before use, allowing wildlife to acclimate. Utilize existing vegetation to integrate the hide naturally into the environment. The tent can be secured with provided guy ropes if needed. The fabric is made from durable polyester 150D with a hydrostatic head rating of 2,500 mm, providing water resistance during rain or showers. Prolonged exposure to sunlight may cause some fading.

Comfort and Protection

An optional fitted groundsheet can be used underneath or inside the hide to keep the photographer and equipment dry and clean. The interior is coated black to minimize light reflection and enhance concealment.

Recommended Equipment
