Design and operation

The aluminum enclosure acts as a heatsink, drawing heat away from the reader to help prevent thermal throttling and maintain stable performance during extended transfers. The push-lock mechanism holds cards securely, while the nonslip base helps prevent movement during use. The blue LED provides visual confirmation of connection and data activity.

Connectivity and compatibility

The USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface supports bandwidth of up to 10 Gbit/s. Both card slots can transfer data simultaneously, with bandwidth shared between them. The included USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to USB-A cables provide connectivity to compatible computers and mobile devices. Plug-and-play compatibility includes Windows, macOS, Linux, Chrome OS, Android, iPadOS and iOS.

Portability

With an 82 g weight, a 12.6 mm slim profile and bus-powered operation, the CreatePro BS10 is designed for portable workflows, including on-the-go editing and media offloading.
