The Tokina Cinema 50-135mm T2.9 MK II delivers a highly versatile zoom range in a compact design. Tokina engineers have created a telephoto lens that is parfocal, has dramatically reduced breathing and image shift, and a de-clicked, 9-bladed, curved iris for beautiful bokeh and precise exposure control. With its 3.3 foot close-focus capability, the lens allows you the freedom to capture tight close-ups while maintaining a comfortable distance from your subject.
The 50-135mm T2.9 MKII cinema lens is an update to the original 50-135mm T3 Telephoto zoom lens. It has received an all-new metal mechanical housing featuring industry-standard 0.8 MOD cinema gears, a 300-degree focus throw, an updated T2.9 iris, and a 95mm front diameter for common cinema accessories.
Designed to match the mechanical and optical properties of the popular Tokina Cinema 11-20mm T2.9 zoom, the 50-135mm T2.9 MKII retains optical design features similar to the 11-20mm T2.9, including a parfocal design to retain focus while zooming, limited focus breathing, and low distortion. Both lenses in the series feature an interchangeable mount between PL, EF, Sony E, MFT, and Nikon F mounts.
