DZOFILM balances aesthetics and utility by producing compact, versatile cine-lenses that enable fast workflows and high-quality footage. The Pavo series features an all-metal body with a blend of black and space gray finishes, targeting medium-to-high-budget productions.
Lens Series and Compatibility
The Pavo series includes six lenses ranging from 28mm to 100mm focal lengths, all designed for Super 35 sensors with a 2x anamorphic squeeze factor. These lenses are compatible with various cinema cameras and can be used on full-frame cameras when paired with DZOFILM Marlin expanders. The 2x compression factor provides a wider field of view and natural reproduction of subjects on screen, along with attractive waterfall bokeh effects.
Optical Characteristics
- Blue and neutral coatings produce horizontal blue or other colored flares under multiple lighting conditions, creating cinematic visuals while maintaining image clarity.
- Excellent control of classic anamorphic barrel distortion and minimized chromatic aberration, even at wide apertures.
- Natural skin tone reproduction and vibrant color rendering.
