4K HDMI to NDI High Bandwidth Conversion
The Kiloview U40 is a compact and powerful 4K P60 HDMI to NDI encoder that converts 4K 60fps HDMI video signals into NDI® high bandwidth streams. It also supports conversion of various IP streams such as RTSP, SRT, RTMP, and HLS into NDI|HX, SRT, RTMP, RTSP, and TS-UDP formats, enabling versatile IP-based video transmission.
NDI Webcam Input Compatibility
Using the free NDI® webcam input tool, the U40 can be designated as a video input source in popular desktop video applications including Google Hangouts, GoToMeeting, Skype, Skype for Business, WebEx, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
Dual Ethernet Ports and Stream Conversion
The device features two 1000 Mbps Ethernet ports, allowing it to convert HDMI video to NDI High Bandwidth and simultaneously convert IP streams (RTSP, RTMP, SRT, TS-UDP, HLS) to NDI|HX, enhancing camera functionality and versatility.
PTZ Control Support
The U40 supports Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) control via USB to serial interfaces RS232, RS485, and RS422, as well as PTZ control over IP without requiring additional cables.
Camera Link Management
Through the U40's web user interface, users can manage web-based cameras using the camera link function, ensuring seamless integration between the encoder and camera.
Built-in Tally Lights
The encoder includes bright and distinct tally lights for PVW (preview) and PGM (program) indication, facilitating effective team coordination during production.
