Hoya UX Circular Polarizer Filter 37mm
Designed for Beginner Photographers
The UX CIR-PL Slim circular polarizer filter is offered as an entry-level filter alongside the new UX UV filter. This series is specifically designed for beginner photographers seeking affordable filters.
The "UX" in the series name stands for "User eXperience," highlighting the enhanced experience users gain when using these filters. The goal is to provide better individual usage experiences across all photography-related activities.
Effective Polarization and Construction
The UX CIR-PL filter is compatible with both film and digital cameras. It effectively reduces reflections on non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass, enhancing saturation and improving contrast.
The filter's construction consists of a polarizing film sandwiched between two glass elements. The front ring rotates, allowing the polarizing film to be positioned at the desired angle.
Additional Features
- Threaded edges allow mounting of additional filters and lens caps.
- The slim design completely eliminates vignetting when used with wide-angle lenses.
