The SmallRig 4218 filter kit features an 8-point star-cross filter with cross lines etched onto the glass, transforming every highlight into brilliant star shapes. The effect intensifies with brighter light sources, and the star direction can be adjusted by simply rotating the filter.

High-Quality Optical Glass and Coatings

  • Constructed from German Schott B270i HD glass for superior optical clarity.
  • Equipped with waterproof, stain-resistant, mildewproof, and scratch-resistant anti-reflective (AR) coatings to reduce color cast and enhance durability.

Design and Compatibility

  • Features a CNC-machined ultra-thin aluminum alloy frame, 3.5mm thick, with a diameter of 55mm, ensuring no vignetting even when used with ultra-wide-angle lenses.
  • Magnetically attaches securely to the SmallRig 52mm magnetic filter adapter ring for quick and stable mounting.
