SJCAM A50 Personal Camera
The SJCAM A50 is a versatile personal camera for recording video and taking photos. It offers five video modes and three photo modes, night vision, GPS and a 2-inch touchscreen. Its wide 135° field of view and distortion correction help capture clear footage in a range of conditions.
Night vision
LED and infrared lights support recording after dark. The camera has a 135° field of view and automatic distortion correction to help produce more detailed night-time photos and videos.
Video and audio quality
Record video at up to 4K resolution and 30 frames per second. The built-in microphone captures ambient sound, while the built-in speaker supports playback.
Recording and photo modes
Choose from normal, time-lapse, car, loop recording and pre-recording modes. Loop recording replaces the oldest clips when the memory card is full, helping the camera continue recording. Pre-recording captures a few seconds of footage before recording is activated. Photo modes include single, burst and interval shooting.
GPS and controls
The built-in GPS can record location and route information and indicate driving speed. It also synchronises the date and time from satellite data. Use the 2-inch touchscreen to select settings and review footage, or manage camera settings from a smartphone using the SJCAM ZONE app. The camera supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
Design and storage
A 2,250 mAh lithium-ion battery provides power for extended use. The camera has a USB-C port and supports microSD cards up to 128 GB. A USB-C data cable is included for transferring photos and videos. An external microphone can be connected via USB-C and is sold separately; a remote control is also available separately.
