The REDTIGER F4 Pro records journeys simultaneously from the front and rear of the vehicle, capturing front footage in 4K and rear footage in 1080p. Sony STARVIS 2 technology improves image quality in daylight and low-light conditions, while built-in GPS records route and speed data. Dual-camera recording

The front and rear cameras record simultaneously, documenting events both ahead of and behind the vehicle. This can help establish the circumstances of a collision, parking incident or dangerous manoeuvre. Clips can be exported for sharing with an insurer or for reference.

Sony STARVIS 2 image technology

Sony STARVIS 2 technology improves low-light performance, near-infrared sensitivity and dynamic range by up to 2.5 times compared with standard solutions. It balances bright and dark areas to capture more detail, including during night driving, in rain and on poorly lit roads.

Voice control and touchscreen

Voice control lets you operate selected functions without reaching for the device. Commands can turn on the screen, activate Wi-Fi, take a photo, lock a recording or stop recording. The 2.2-inch touchscreen provides access to settings, playback and device functions.

Wi-Fi 6 and REDTIGER Cam app

The 5.8 GHz Wi-Fi 6 module supports download speeds of up to 13 MB/s, enabling transfers up to six times faster than over a 2.4 GHz connection. With the REDTIGER Cam app, you can view live footage, download recordings, manage settings, check GPS data and share clips from a smartphone. The app also supports over-the-air (OTA) software updates.

Compact, adjustable mounting

The dash cam is designed for discreet mounting behind the rear-view mirror to help keep the driver’s field of view clear. Its mount allows 240° rotation for flexible positioning and can be removed to take the device down easily.

GPS and recording protection

Built-in GPS automatically records route and speed data, providing additional trip information for reviewing journeys and organising recordings. The G-sensor detects sudden impacts or shocks and protects the relevant footage from being overwritten by loop recording.

Parking monitoring

Two parking modes provide monitoring when the vehicle is parked. Collision Lock mode uses the G-sensor to detect impacts and protect important recordings. Time-lapse mode records over longer periods while using less memory. Parking monitoring requires a separately sold hardwire kit.

Loop recording and memory card

Loop recording continuously replaces the oldest files with new footage, so recording can continue without manual deletion. A 128 GB memory card is included and stores approximately 8 hours of video.

Supercapacitor

The dash cam uses a supercapacitor instead of a conventional battery and is designed to operate at temperatures from approximately -20°C to 85°C, supporting reliable operation in varied weather and high vehicle-interior temperatures.
