REDTIGER VC70 4K + 2.5K Wi-Fi Dash Cam
The REDTIGER VC70 records 4K video from the front camera and 2.5K video from the rear camera simultaneously. It features a Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 8 MP front sensor, an OmniVision OS04J10 rear sensor, Dual HDR, Dual Night Vision, GPS, Wi-Fi 6 at 5.8 GHz and a 3-inch touchscreen. A 128 GB memory card is included.
Dual-channel recording
Recordings use a 16:9 aspect ratio and capture detail from both the front and rear of the vehicle. The high-resolution footage can help identify number plates and document the sequence of events in the event of a collision or other incident.
Low-light recording
The front camera uses a 1/1.8-inch Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 sensor, while the rear camera uses a 1/1.88-inch OmniVision OS04J10 sensor. The sensors increase the light-sensitive area by up to 110%, improve light sensitivity by 68%, provide a 2.5-fold wider dynamic range and achieve an SNR of 42 dB, helping to reduce image noise and retain detail in low light.
The front STARVIS 2 sensor reduces motion blur and noise for more natural, detailed night footage. The rear camera uses Noctura™ technology to improve visibility through tinted windows. Its 2.9 μm pixels capture more light, while Nyxel® BSI technology helps preserve detail, including number plates, after dark.
Dual HDR and night modes
Dual HDR balances bright and dark areas of the image to retain detail in highlights and shadows, including when driving through tunnels or in direct sunlight. Dual Night Vision provides independently optimised night modes for both cameras. Hyper Night Clarity enhances important road details while driving at night, while NiteGuard™ provides up to 300% clearer detail during low-light parking monitoring in time-lapse mode.
Touchscreen and voice control
Use voice commands to control selected functions, including enabling Wi-Fi, activating audio and protecting recordings from being overwritten. The 3-inch touchscreen provides access to footage, settings and device controls.
Installation and power
The rotating lens allows adjustment of the recording angle, and the detachable mount makes it easier to remove the camera or move it to another vehicle. The front and rear cameras are designed for straightforward installation. Power is supplied through the included USB-C cable. The car charger also has an additional USB port for powering another device.
Loop recording and parking monitoring
Loop recording automatically overwrites the oldest footage when the memory card is full. The camera supports memory cards up to 512 GB, and a 128 GB card is included. For 24-hour parking monitoring, Collision Lock saves recordings when an impact is detected. Time-Lapse mode is designed to retain natural colours and improve detail visibility in low light. Parking monitoring requires a separately sold Hardwire Kit.
Wi-Fi 6 and GPS
Built-in Wi-Fi 6 operates on the 5.8 GHz band and supports downloads at up to 30 MB/s under laboratory conditions without interference. A one-minute 4K recording can take approximately 10 seconds to download. With the Redtiger Cam app, you can view and download recordings, change camera settings and share footage without removing the memory card.
The built-in GPS records route, location, speed and timestamps, adding trip information to the video footage.
