DJI OM Multifunctional Module

The multifunctional module enables precise tracking of people, cats, and dogs. Simply attach it to the gimbal, and you can use your camera or live streaming apps to capture impressive moments with your pets. Thanks to its reliable tracking function, it excels especially in situations where multiple people are moving within the frame. The gimbal can respond flexibly and track the selected subject steadily.

Apple DockKit Support

Start filming whenever inspiration strikes. Simply place your phone on the NFC area on the gimbal handle and pair it via Bluetooth. Once magnetically attached, the selected subject will be automatically tracked.

Magnetic Quick-Release

iPhone users can also use the DJI OM magnetic quick-release mount, which eliminates the need for a phone clamp, further streamlining the creative process.

ActiveTrack 7.0

Shoot without limits and easily focus on your desired subject. Whether you’re zooming, encountering sudden obstacles, or making sudden movements, the Osmo Mobile 8 will accurately track the subject. Plus, with a single tap in the app, you can switch focus between multiple people. The Dual Lens Boost feature uses both the wide-angle and telephoto lenses simultaneously. If the subject moves quickly or leaves the frame for a moment, the gimbal will find them again and continue tracking, ensuring uninterrupted shooting.

Additional Light

The auxiliary light offers eight brightness levels and eight color temperature settings. Both can be easily adjusted with a single turn of the side dial. Whether you’re filming in rainy weather or live streaming in low light, you can always create the right look and atmosphere.

Audio Recording

Pet Tracking

The multi-functional module keeps up with your playful pets and easily captures every moment—from a graceful jump to a quick run. Person Tracking. Activate person tracking by quickly pressing the shutter button or holding your palm up to the camera. The gimbal will immediately lock onto the selected person.

Control recording with gestures

Palm control: Point your palm at the camera to instantly pause or start smart tracking.
V-shape gesture: Make a V-shape gesture to easily take a photo or start/stop video recording.
Double L gesture: Use the double L gesture to precisely adjust the shot. No matter how you move, the gimbal will always keep you in the center of the frame.
