OWC Hub I USB 4.0 Hub 6-Port Connectivity Solution (USB Type C)

Full USB4 speed for your workstation

Most USB-C hubs limit laptop speeds to 10 Gb/s. The OWC USB4 Hub supports the full 40 Gb/s available from USB4, helping you get the performance your hardware is designed to deliver. Connect two fast drives at once, attach a monitor directly and charge your laptop through a single USB4 cable.

Ports and connectivity

• Two USB4 ports for USB4- and Thunderbolt-compatible drives or card readers, which can be used simultaneously.
• Two USB-C ports for connecting hard drives, adapters and other peripherals.
• Built-in HDMI 2.1 output for direct monitor connection without a separate adapter.
• Compatible with USB4, Thunderbolt and USB-C devices.

Power and cooling

• Provides up to 81 W of power to charge a connected laptop over the same cable used for data and video.
• Power negotiation between the laptop and connected devices is automatic.
• The fanless aluminium enclosure dissipates heat efficiently for quiet, reliable all-day operation without performance throttling.

Designed for creative workflows

Suitable for photographers, video editors, multi-drive workflows and laptops with limited ports. For example, transfer footage from a card reader while an SSD backs up an archive, connect a second display through HDMI 2.1, and keep the laptop charged without a separate charger.

The hub works with Mac, Windows, Linux and Chrome OS laptops, as well as iPad Pro. It is compatible with OWC ClingOn cable stabilisers to help reduce cable strain on a busy desk.
